Trailhead Tram

The most lovely blanket of snow was visible as we rode up the tram. We were prepared with micro spikes, crampons, ice axe, helmets just in case we needed them knowing the all trails from the tram to the summit where completely covered and we’d hike straight to the top. We got a late 10:30 am start with clear blue skies. Came across lots of campers and hikers the first mile. As we moved on there were few hikers making their way to the summit. We did see one group of high school students ahead. We pressed on hiking straight up using the Gaia App. We then exchanged greetings with skiers enjoying the snow filled slopes.. big fun. We reached the summit by 2 pm. Having the summit to ourselves for a good while before the group of high school students arrived was spectacular. Made it back to the tram by 6 pm. 360 degree views were incredible. This hike was complete zen!
