San Jacinto from Devil’s Slide Trail

We summitted San Jacinto from the south side this time by taking the Devil’s Slide Trail (in Humber Park) that leads into PCT trail that leads all the way to the summit. The trail starts around 6,400 ft and snow appears around 8,000 ft so microspikes were needed to cross snow patches in the last 2,000 ft to the summit. Snow is compact with strong footholds so ice axe was not needed. Enjoy this scenic trail.
