Deer Springs Trail to the Summit it does change to the PCT on parts of the trail. Then down the Wellmans Dive Trail. This route will give you spectacular views and allows you to avoid the crowds. I understand why, because a 20 mile hike with a little elevation gain will keep most sane people away lol. The Wellmans Dive Trail in my opinion has one of the most beautiful views along the trail in the area. Huge Trees, green meadows, giant rock formations, views over looking valleys and canyons giving me the feeling I’m in a different world. One without bills, emails, traffic, conference calls, or work deadlines. I was lucky enough to have had this experience with Leo, Fabien, Lisa and my sister Tisha. You know you have a good group of people when the aches and pains you start to experience become humorous and blisters become a badge of honor. Keeping everyone’s spirits high and positive for a long day of hiking!
