This is my new favorite, a perfect balance of challenge and eye-catching scenery. The dramatic views to the east and north from the summit are well worth the price of admission–a gallon of sweat. Relatively busy at the summit for a weekday. Met a couple of PCT thru hikers who were relieved to be in the cool air of the mountains, with all the streams and creeks flowing with lots of water!
