San Jacinto – 3 down 3 to go

San Jacinto lived up to all the posts that I had read. The trail was well marked and well maintained. We found flowing water (enough for refills) at three or four places just over 3 miles in from the Marion Mountain Trail Head at between 8,000 – 9,000 ft. Weather was perfect with a nice cool breeze along the way that turned into a pretty strong wind at the peak. The hike back down was steep so trekking poles were extremely helpful.
