I LOVED this hike!! Even though it was one of my most difficult due to a bout with vertigo at the top, I found this to be one of the most beautiful and. Hallenging hikss. There were just two of us from midweek Hikers, Jesse and I, so we kept a quick pace. Started super early (pre-dawn) as always, and it was chilly. That was much appreciated later as things warmed up on our way down. We were met at the top by our friend Bernard, who slept through his alarm clocks, and RAN up?? Due to my vertigo, I appreciated he and Zjesse doing a Nacho Libre re-enactment of the fight scene at the summit, with costumes! 😆 It gave my head time to adjust to the altitude and my meds to kick in! 😘 We got some amazing views, and great pics on our way up. I especially loved the campground that had the sparkling stream in it, and all the in reduble vistas and foliage variations.
