Peak San Gorgonio

Trailhead Vivian Creek

This hike was great! The first couple miles were a steady but tough incline. The hardest part was after the lookout in the 7.3 mile range. Altitude and incline made it tough for me to go more than 20 steps without needed a break. Took me about 11 hours to complete round trip with stops on the way up and sidetracking to the view of San Jacinto. At the top i replaced my hiking boots with Teva’s sandals and socks and it was beyond amazing! I could not recommend it more! I am sad that it took me to my last hike to figure out how amazing it was having these sandals!
