Trailhead Vivian Creek

When I pulled in to the Vivian Creek parking lot at 6:30am, there was already at least a dozen cars there. I thought what a slacker I was. Little did I know probably two-thirds of those were people who came the day before and camped over-night. Seemed like that ratio held true for the people I met on trail. I was equipped to camp, if necessary, but was committed by schedule to do it in one day. In spite of what my knee had to say about it. Not proud to say it took me 14 hours to hike 16 miles, but I made it. It was very cool seeing some of the hike from both the light of just after sunrise, and just before sunset.
