Third time doing San Gorgonio, first time as a day hike. What a long day! Profile was not as difficult as the mileage covered in a single day. To really enjoy the Gorgonio wilderness, you really need to spend at least two nights doing this otherwise you’re just racing daylight and not enjoying the hike. Glad we got to do it and challenge ourselves. Will probably only do as a backpacking trip in the future.
