Trailhead Vivian Creek

We started just before sunrise and it was cold. The trail head started at 75 degrees and got colder as we reached the peak. The different terrain as we continued the hike was beautiful and we met some friendly hikers along the way. The cooler weather really helped us keep going on the trail. As we got close to the false peaks and the peak itself, it began to rain sporadically. Fortunately we were prepared with jackets. We did not realize we took a slight detour near the peak and was not sure which peak was the actual peak. Exhausted and concerned with the rain, we were not sure we would make it. However, we did and were excited. The hike on the way down felt like it would never end but we eventually made it back down and saw several pairs of deer, birds, and chipmunks along the way.
