Today’s hike was special to me because I was blessed to have Rich Amadori and John McCoy with us for their first time hiking to Southern California’s highest mountain and we had perfect weather conditions to make it even more pleasant.
We headed out at 5:40am and reached the summit at about noon or so. But the best part of this hike was the happy and emotional looks everyone had as they reached the summit.
This is the reason why I love this hiking group and the people in it.
