We started the day with plans to hike San G via Momyer. But a fatal traffic accident in the early morning changed our plans. We had planned to start Our ascend at 4:00am via Momyer Creek. But with the accident, we decided to wait in line in hopes to get a day pass for Vivian Creek which we successfully achieved. Instead of starting at 4:00am as planned, we didn’t start until almost 8am. In total, it took us roughly 10hrs to complete San G as we finished around 6pm. It was a hot day but we lucked out with clouds rolling in as we approached the summit.
