The hike and conditions were perfect. The trail is well maintained and fairly easy to follow. I camped on the summit and it was amazing. Anyone considering this climb, try sleeping at night at the summit. The sunset and nighttime views are amazing. Just be prepared for some wind.
I might try that! I’ve camped atop Cucamonga Peak (awesome night lights) and at both Limber Pine and High Creek, but not at the summit of San G.
