For my first ever backpacking adventure I chose to Summit Gorgonio via Vivian Creek then take the Peak divide trail to Shields flat camp then onto San Bernardino Peak. What an epic Trip! We had clouds and rain and hail and memories I won’t soon forget. Adding 10 lbs of water at High creek because there is no more water above…..wow. The ridge between San G/ San B is serene and beautiful and now is a special place for me. I want to thank my mentor and hiking Buddy Jon S. who was too lazy to sign up on So Cal Hiker but not too lazy to complete this challenge. Thank you for creating this challenge Jeff!
