Bees! I am not one for bugs – which can be hard being a hiker. The roughest part of this hike was all the plants with bees. It would’ve also been great to know which hikes required permits. My friend and I showed up to the Ranger station at 530 and waiting for them to open so that we secured a permit to hike in time – and luckily we were able to get the permit for Gorgornio at the same time!
