This hike was amazing, started off at 8am from the trailhead so had to park a mile down the road. It was very crowded by this time but as the day went on the trails cleared up. The weather was perfect and the snow on the trails had melted away by now though trekking poles were still very fun. When I got to the top I had the luck of running into Jeff and his colleague. It was a brief chat but it made me trip to meet him. I took about an hour nap up at the top and explored far to the left and right of the peak, much more isolated in those areas if you like peace and quiet. Will definitely be back here again, hopefully in the winter as I build up my skill and experience for mountaineering.
