Rush to the peak to beat the storm

The first mile and the last two to the summit were brutal – but the rest was lovely. The weather was a concern with the incoming rain so we pushed the pace to summit before 11 and made it within a quarter mile of the car before the rain started falling! Perfect timing for a little cool off after a long hike!
