This was my fave hike so far! On our way to the tram parking lot, we saw the most beautiful rainbow and actually saw where it touched the ground. We looked for the pot o’ gold, but didn’t find it. That is because the gold was our adventure of tackling the 5th peak! After starting our journey up the mountain, were greeted with light rain. It was so amazing! I wasn’t as winded as I was when we completed San Bernardino and for that I was thankful. After taking out photo with the plaque, we headed back down a bit because the summit is really a huge pile of boulders and doesn’t leave a lot of room to hang out. The views are beautiful from those boulders, though! On our way back down to the tram, we were hiking in rain and thunder. A little scary hearing the thunder, but an experience to remember. Looking forward to completing the challenge and heading up to San G!
