Pride of Cucamonga

Started at 8am…little later than wanted to beat the heat. This was my first time on this trail as all six of these peaks will be my first ascent of each! Passed what seemed to be Lady Bug rocks….everywhere. If you stoped for two seconds, you would be covered. Just like on Mt Wilson, as I entered the initial switchbacks, I was reminded that I need to work on conditioning. HA! Everyone has been so nice and friendly along the trails. Couple area where if you are not paying attention you could get off course. Although the cosmic cafe on Wilson was well appreciated. This Cucamonga peak is more pleasurable. Not only higher but without all the towers and such! Someone had made a sign and left at the top for all to use on the ledge pics. Thanks to whomever! Weather was getting warm on the way down but the steady breeze helped, especially on the way up. 2 down 4 to go!
