Wow, the weather was incredibly damp. We started hiking around 7am, then experienced the first drop of rain around 8:30am. It started raining much harder when we were 2 miles from summit. At the summit, the rain came down much harder, the temperature dropped and the wind picked up! Thank goodness for The Cosmic Cafe, I was able to defrost my hands and fingers from the cold. We continued down the Mt. Wilson Trail to Chantry Flats with damp clothes and more rain!
