The hike started out good, slow and steady. Then it started to drizzle… soon after the drizzle became a light sprinkle. At the last 2 miles before summit, it started to get really cold and windy. The summit was sort of unbearable. My clothes were drenched inside my rain-proof jacket and I forgot to pack an extra shirt to change into. I warmed my cold hands under the hot water at the women’s restroom and by holding some hot chocolate purchased at the cafe.
