One Down, Five to Go!

Solo Hike on March 18th: Arrived at the lower gate at 5:50 AM expecting to wait, but it was already open. Arrived at the Parking lot at 6AM and lower lot was full with groups of Hikers. Started the Hike shortly after 6 in the moonlight. Stopped at Sturdivant Camp for a rest and a short swing! The hike up from Sturdivant to Mt Wilson was strenuous and steep without many breaks. Was alone the entire hike up from Sturdivant and enjoyed the incredible views as I closed in on the peak. Arrived at the peak at 9:30 and had a pack breakfast at the picnic table. Wandered about at the top of the peak to the Astronomy Museum and the Cosmic Cafe for some donation coffee to sip while enjoying the views. Crossed the parking lot to proceed down towards the toll road and returned to Chantry flat via Winter Creek Trail. Arrived at 1:30 PM and enjoyed a cold beer!
