I am not sure how many miles this hike is, but it’s longer than it seems. Trailhead sign says 10.8. So Cal Hikers says 11.2. Hikespeak says 13.2. Whatever it seems longer than it is. I’ve done this a couple of times, and it was described as tough, but I didn’t think it was too bad. Yesterday I changed my mind. It kicked my butt. I set the record for slowest time to the summit, and I was embarrassingly slow overall. Still I dragged my fat ass up there and that’s what counts. No more slacking off on the mid week hikes, I pay for it on the good ones.
