What an amazing memory to be a part of! Being that this was my second peak of the Six Peak Challenge, I was apprehensive. But I knew I was going to be ok, especially with the group I was summiting with. I loved meeting people on the hike, hearing the wounded warriors’ stories. The hike itself was really nice. Got to experience the Devil’s Backbone and all its glory. It was nice and hot at some points but got a lot cooler towards the top, which I appreciated very much. That last push was very challenging and I was unsure if I was going to make it, but with the grace of God, support from fellow teammates, and a little mental grit, I did it!
