Mount Jacinto is one of the easiest peak I’ve done so far. Still challenging tho. The trail climbs continuously before getting to the saddle junction and the summit. Lots of rocks, but all good with proper shoes to wear.
It took 9 hrs to complete. Rest, rest and rest. Lots of shades in the trail. Breathtaking views 3 miles to the Peak. I’ll definitely hike Mount Jacinto again.
San Jacinto is one of my favorites, too. I’ve been hiking it for years. The alpine climate below the summit with the meadows and trees reminds me of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Glad to hear, Jeff. I’m definitely hiking San Jacinto again. The view is just amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. I might run into you in San Jacinto someday. Haha
My next Peak is San Bernardino. Really looking forward to it
Have a great week, Jeff. Happy Trails
