Weather was great for hiking (and sweating)! Cool and cloudy. When we got to the top, the clouds were blowing through, making it chilly and wet. We saw a couple of salamanders along the trail. Cute little guys! I had hiked Wilson twice before via Chantry Flats. This route added about a mile and 1,000 feet of elevation gain. It definitely bumped it up a notch!
