Great weather conditions out there. Temps in the 50’s felt very warm. No snow or wind at all so it was very pleasant “summer-like” hike. No spikes were necessary.

January is actually my favorite time of year to hike Mt Wilson. Not only is it cooler, but there are ALMOST no gnats.
Agree, Jeff. I never hike Mt. Wilson in the summer. Way too miserable with gnats during that time. Winter is a new Summer there, lol.
