This was a challenging hike, It was deep in the woods, We started kinda late, around 2pm, so we had to do it non stop , we didn’t want to get stuck up in the mountain. We ran into 3 hikes, one very nice lady hiking with a small dog, an a couple.. It was really scary at one point, we ran into 2 guys,very suspicious, they didn’t have hiking gear, no water, no hiking shoes, nothing , so we thought that was weird, and then they asked us how far was the lake… what lake right???? Omg at the point we knew that we had to get ahead of them and fast, we left them behind quick. at the top we actually felt safe.. We we running out of time, so we ran down , all the way to chantry flat. omg that was one challenging hike, I would do it again , anytime. but next time, early in the morning. :0)
