The hike was beautiful. We started about 8:30am and it was a little chilly. I would for sure recommend the detour to see the falls. They were super impressive. We Hiked on a Monday and there was practically no on there. We ran into a few people but not very many. Once we hit the summit it was very cold. We cooked some warm food to try and warm up a little and then headed back down. We took the lower creek trail at the bottom and it was nice that it traveled next to the creek. We appreciated that it was a little bit shorter but the climb up the service road at the end was brutal. Glad to have 1 down and I am excited for the other 5.
