There was heavy rain leading up to the hike and weren’t sure we were going to be able to go, but it cleared up just in time. The waterfalls were all very full and beautiful. About 5 miles into the hike we ran into snow and there was more as we went on. We probably should have had microspikes on toward the top. It turned out to be a beautiful day and an awesome hike! Can’t wait for peak #2!

The photo of the snow-capped San Gabriel Mountains is amazing! Looks like a beautiful day for a hike.
Yeah, it was a bit sketchy coming back down. Not too bad though. We took it slow. It was a wonderful day for the hike though!
