This one is always challenging to me. I use my bitchstix chapstick and complain the entire time; but of course I still laugh at the top and act like “This is so easy!” I love the view half way up at the lodge. I love feeling like I started out below the ski lifts and ended far above them. I enjoy the view on each side of the Devils Backbone. I love looking back at the top as we descend and think “wow.. we literally just hiked all of that!” Makes me feel like I can do just about anything!
