I’ve done Baldy before from the Notch so the Ski Hut trail was a definite surprise! it was straight up lol! But it had beautiful views of the valley below. Although there were lots of people on the trail, there were moments of quiet when I was just by myself. It was really calming and peaceful. The trek to the top took a lot out of me, it was a long huff! But the end was worth it. We went down the Devils Backbone and had a late lunch at the Notch! It was good day with friends.
