We’ve now got a group of four training for the JMT! We started at about 7:30 am and decided to take the baldy bowl trail up to the summit and it was a great decision. i had about 28 pounds on my back to train for the JMT and it didn’t feel that terrible 🙂 We also met three other people (one guy and another couple) who were training for the JMT and exchanged info and tips with them! overall a beautiful day for a hike and felt good about all the gear i was able to fit in my pack
