Willlllllson!! This hike started off great. We were pretty much the only people in the parking lot, as usual, because true to form, we started early on a weekday. The weather was nice, and we kept a great pace thanks to Jesse. He reminded us he had seen Bear on this trail before, which of course quickened our step! We added in a couple of stops at Sturtevant Falls & some other smaller waterfall areas. It’s been awhile so I can’t recall the names! 😆 I think Hermit Falls? We also spent time at the campground with the swings and hammocks, taking pics. :). They’re not on my phone anymore so I’ll have to load them later. My least fave part of this hike were the large bugs! My most fave was that it was my first Peak, and we ran down the first three miles after summiting, which reminded me of a scene from Last of the Mohicans.
