The hike was great. The first 4 miles were a breeze and then the incline happened. The weather was perfect and I loved all the shade from the trees. We saw 3 snakes on the way down and my knees and feet hated me at this point. We opted for the 1/2 mile uphill at the end and although it was rough, we were happy we took that lower trail.
