Peak Mt Baldy
Group N/A
Trailhead Mankers Flat

I really enjoyed Mount Baldy. I do remember this hike being quite challenging though, especially when we got to the mid section where there was a ski lift. There were two options.. we could’ve gone to the left and it was up a more slight hill. Or we could take the super steep hill that was supposedly a shorter path, according to some guys we talked to. We chose the very steep path, and boy was it a TRIP. We had to stop ever 20-30 feet to take a break and it literally felt like the path went straight up. It almost felt like we were going to slide backwards because it was so steep. After it finally evened out, the hike was nice again until the very end… “devil’s backbone” to finish the hike was another super steep trip. This time it felt like we stopped at every switchback for this one. By the time we reached the top, it really felt like victory was ours. This hike was quite crowded at the top, but it felt like good vibes. We met and mingled with a lot of people on this hike.
