The hike had beautiful views. I liked this hike the best out of all the hikes that I have done in the six packs of peaks. My only complaint was that a lot of mosquitoes were singing in my ears and blocking my vision. Even though I had on mosquito repellent, it didn’t stop these guys from getting in my view. My friend had a net to block them from attacking her face. I was jealous.
The weather was perfect even though this week’s news gave out a warning for excessive heat. Being in the mountain was great because we didn’t even feel any of the heat that people in the city encountered. We even had a quick little thunderstorm with rain, lightening, and thunder.
The view which one can see from San Bernardino is really something amazing. But it’s better not to go there without a mosquito net. Those bloodsuckers are so angry there! I also use thyme and basil essential oils as a natural mosquito repellent.
