Awesome tree cover on this hike and very cool meeting a couple hiking up from Milwaukee, WI. We got to the saddle before submitting the top and heard thunder. We raced up and it was cloudy and freezing at the top. I loved the bouldering up to the top. Very cool to see the Pacific Crest Trail for the first time and the a work camp crew preserving and improving the trail.
