This was my first time on this trail being a recent North Carolina transplant. Got started around 6:40 AM. Did not encounter much traffic on the Way up. Was warned about the final 2 miles of getting up to Mount Wilson. It is quite the push. Was a sunny day but probably 70% of the hike provided Shade. On the way back we encountered a bear on the trail. He was spooked by oncoming hiker as I turn the corner. Then proceeded to schedule a rock face towel over i he was spooked by oncoming hiker as I turn the corner. Then proceeded to scale a rock face and kept us in his sights. Willing to admit this trail kind of hit me in the face. Going to have to get my stamina of Cucamonga.
