Heat had cooled after a very Hot weekend, dropped the kids off at school, had the day off so I thought I would hike this Wilson route. It may have been Labor Day weekend beers sweating out, but the gnats where all over me under shaded areas and near the creek. I ate at least a dozen while inhaling. Made the hike a notthe most pleasant but I was already committed. Route was nice, very empty trail during the week
