How does one title this “Llama Trails” AND post a pic….but not explain? I just have so so many questions. =)
Hey Giovanni! What’s the story behind the llamas? Where did you see them?! I’ve never seen llamas there before.
LOL, sorry…..So I started my hike from Sturtevant Falls and went to Mt. Wilson Observatory. I then came down the lower creek trail, enjoying my walk and listening to the stream, when I look over at a upcoming stream crossing in the trail, here is a llama and young lady with a small dog crossing the stream! I started laughing and told her a llama is the last thing I expected to see on the trail. She explained to me there is llama stable nearby on the mountain, she was telling me how great they are for pack animals. I’ve never heard of this stable and I’m guessing this is not a common sight on the trails. Great hike, you never know what you will see on these adventures.
