The hike was easier than what I anticipated and heard from other friends, but we took longer than expected because my son had a terrible and was not feeling well. The trail conditions were good, a little wet and icy on some of it, but overall good. The weather was definitely chilly mostly throughout the hike compared to the other peaks. We felt good that we were done way before the sunset. It was such a relief to finish the challenge out of all 6 peaks and total of 4 peaks done for September less than a week before the deadline! We gave kudos to my son who turned 12 years old just 3 days before this hike and he hiked 12 miles while feeling under the weather!
