Beautiful day for hiking! Started hiking at 0615 and enjoyed cool temps all the way to the top. Forgot how rocky this trail is in sections! Fortunately, no turned ankles or other injuries. Met some nice folks along the way and spent a nice time at the top before heading down. The ladybugs in ice house canyon were insane! They were flying everywhere, and then we came upon a some boulders that were literally covered in a blanket of them! What do you call a group of ladybugs? A lovliness of ladybugs! Or, maybe in this case, “an aggregation!” It was crazy. check out the pics.
