What a difference a few days makes!
I hiked from Icehouse to Timber Mtn on Saturday and the trail was incredibly busy. Today we got an earlier start for Cucamonga Peak and it was far less crowded.
The weather was perfect, lots of friendly hikers on the trail and at summit.
It was especially moving to be with our hike organizer (George) as he was able to honor his brother who served in Vietnam with his flag at the peak.
Our return to Icehouse had a fairytale like moment as we were met with swarms of ladybugs…incredible!
