This was my second time on this trail the first time we didn’t summit because of snow and only went to the saddle. This day was very warm but there were nice cool winds going up. This was my most anticipated peak because of that famous rock at the top and i forgot my phone in my car so luckily my friend got some cool shots of me at summit. All in all I truly enjoyed this hike but it did take about 8 hours to finish. It is a more difficult hike but i was enjoying it more than Wilson so I guess that makes a world of difference an no more knee pain! Coming down I soaked my towel in the creek and wet myself a few times to cool off. Probably the last mile and a half seemed like an eternity but I’m seeing that pattern with these peak hikes!!
