Trailhead Marion Mountain

Today ended up being another great day for a hike. We started at approximately 7:30am with cool weather throughout the whole day. The first 1/2 mile up is strenuous and was worried I wasn’t quite prepared for the hike. Once we got past this point, the incline was gradual and I had no issues going up. There are two flat areas that will give you a break approximately 2.5 miles in and at Little Round Valley. The last mile or so becomes strenuous once again along with hiking on boulders. The views are amazing especially at the summit. There’s a lot of tree cover along the hike so you’re never really exposed to the sun especially in the morning.
