It definitely felt warmer, even with with a semi-early start. Regardless, the mostly shady path up and down always helps. It’s the open patches that remind you just how warm it gets. Lots of water and lots of good company made it great.
That’s one saving grace about this trail — lots and lots of shade (mostly). Looks like you had a great time! Congrats on Peak #1!
