First, have to say, this was a really beautiful hike. Vistas from the very beginning. Hiked this again with my wife and son. Great times! While we prepared for the boulder scramble at the top, we were not ready for the boulder challenges on the way up. We overcame however. Really worth the effort but we were really exhausted about 1/2 way down the mountain. Hot day and muggy. Of note, there were a few places to filter water along the way. Glad we came prepared to do just that because we all went through about 5 liters total each! On to the next challenge!
