Started at 7:15 and had sunny weather all day. Was a little warm especially in the more exposed areas but a nice breeze kept things bearable. Hike is definitely steep and very, very crowded (there was one group of 90 people) so we were constantly navigating passing/being passed. The good news is that we made friends with people that essentially were hiking with us and found a likely new hiking partner. We are not speedy hikers, so we were longer than the expected 7 hours (about 9 hrs of hiking time). Views were great but was a bit of a hazy day. Difficult but worthwhile hike.
