This is my second time ever hiking up to Mount Baldy, and this time around it was a lot more pleasant than my first time last November. The weather was great. It was 4th of July, so we saw a lot of other hikers. There were a lot more people going up the Backbone as we went down that way, compared to the foot traffic along the ski hut route.
